Thank goodness it’s Friday. Best of all I got a cute cute new shirt to wear and some good plans! Two classes, then a free afternoon hopefully on the Champ de Mars because it is very sunny right now, and then seeing Mélanie Laurent in a play with my petit copin tonight. It’s going to be a good day. If you want to get pumped up for the weekend this is the anthem…

My new shirt is from none other than my favorite Suncoo that I talk about all the time! I’m also rocking this retro side swept hair lately, what do you think?

These jeans are by The Kooples and they are a light wash with a pretty slightly pink tint to them. The comfy and airy boyfriend fit and the color is perfect for spring.

It has a pretty woven pattern and then drapes down the arm.

I got this clutch for my birthday from my mom It’s vintage 60’s and comes from a very very very cool and accomplished friend of ours. I hope all her success will carry on to me through this bag!

I’ve got some spring time polish on, Miami Peach by Chanel.

This shirt is so soft you have no idea. I am a sucker for soft materials, which is why my place is filled with faux fur pillows and blankets.

Sofia got a bunch of studs which we have been miscellaneously placing on items including my jeans here.

These shoes are by LF and studded in gold and silver. So cool and super comfortable they were a great buy and are on their last leg now…no pun intended.

Yes, I really am that excited it is finally the weekend. Some weeks are just harder than others…

Bardot in Pink

The sun and warmer weather have finally arrived in Paris. It was like one day we just woke up, and winter was over. Cafe terraces are alive again during these milder evenings and spring wardrobes are slowly but surely seeing daylight again. I recently got a few new things to freshen up my style for the weather. It seems like this year’s spring fashion trends are right up my alley, with lots of feminine pieces and soft beautiful colors as well as platform shoes. I recently found the cutest new store in the Marais called Suncoo where I got this dress and a few other adorable things I can’t wait to share with you. I will be sure to add Suncoo to My Paris guide. I am also adding a new feature to my posts, music! Click play, listen, read, relax…

My favorite part of the dress is the back. The tiered layers drape and flow in the breeze, and at the top there is an adorable scalloped detail.

It  has these pretty layers in the front as well.

The  front is adorned with this opaque ivory colored jewel collar. Here I am wearing an antique ivory bow I found at the Port de Vanves flea market for five euros. I strung a silver chain through it to wear it as a necklace.

I was beginning to worry that all my blog readers might think I only owned one pair of shoes! All my outfit posts thus far I have been wearing my favorite Chie Mahari russian doll booties (a name I gave them). Those booties were a life saver this winter, however I do own more than one pair of shoes! These are a new pair I got last week by one of my favorite brands Cosmo Paris. They make adorable and affordable shoes and each season have tons of styles you can find at Printemps. I love the patten leather because I don’t have to worry about wearing them out in spring showers.

The wedge heel is also very comfortable.

The dress has the pretty detail around the bottom as well. You can see the cute but subtle little hearts on my favorite Tabio stockings.

The wood heel on the new platforms are quite loud when I walk though!

Le Carlton

I have a sad but true confession to make. I am no longer on the Cote d’Azur. I have come back to Paris, back to the daily grind of work and school. Don’t get me wrong though, I am not complaining as Paris is a wonderful place to return home to, especially when I feel spring is finally in the air. But I would be lying if I said I would’t rather be back in the South of France spending a relaxing afternoon at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes taking tea in front of the sea like last week when I took these pictures.

Bright yellow tulips throughout the tea room reminded me of how excited I am spring is arriving.

A macaron and little piece of chocolate cake is just enough for an afternoon treat.

Feeling rather relaxed and reclined here…

For such a regal hotel only a royal crown would be a fitting emblem for the establishment.

The entryway was decorated with abundant white orchids and this beautiful chandelier.

The royal crown crest appears throughout the hotel interior.

The outside isn’t bad either!

The Carlton even has its own pier filled with lounge chairs during the summer for those lucky enough to stay at the hotel.

I am sad to say this is about the last of the photos I will be sharing from my recent voyage! Don’t worry though as I will be working around the clock to bring you all the exciting and beautiful things there are to share being back in Paris. Saint Tropézienne

When the sun finally came out in the South of France, I decided to soak it up in Saint Tropez. The tiny but very famous village is still quiet at this time of year but I preferred it that way as it felt a little bit like my own private beach in some secret spots we found.

We rounded this otherwise seemingly dead end corner of the village to find…

No, these are not hamburgers. They are my new obsession…

…the Tropézienne!!! They are fluffy, creamy, and sweet with a hint of orange flavor. They come in jumbo size, regular size, and….

…the least dangerous mini size.

When it comes to boats in Saint Tropez, just like the Tropézienne, there are small ones…

and not-so-small ones.

I am hoping to be back here on this beach in the summer doing some “bronzage.”

I thought this little cherry red boat fittingly called “Cerise” was so cute parked in front of the epicerie.

I am so glad the sun finally came out for my visit to Bardot’s old stomping grounds. I hope to be back this summer when it’s warmer. We Own the Night

Back a couple weeks ago in California, after coveting my sister’s new camera I decided to invest in my own Canon SLR. I am yet to take the time to master all the settings and techniques but my lack of programming efforts are producing some interesting results. Here are some cool shots that play with the light I got from last week’s nightlife at On Cherche Encore and the AUP B2S Party.

Sofia wore her adorable new Rodarte for Go International leopard mini dress. I am currently coveting it and will have to borrow it soon.
