Pâques Chez Ladurée

I know I already did an Easter post, and that it’s not Easter anymore. But I also know it would be a shame for you all to miss out on this year’s Easter spirit at Ladurée. I hope I am not overwhelming you all with chocolate and cuteness in my last couple of posts but everything is just so pretty and sweet for the season here that I have been taking too many photos! I didn’t go to Ladurée Easter day but I stopped in on Saturday for a Salad Concorde at the one on the Champs Elysées, and of coarse to take in some eye candy.

My favorite is the upstairs blue room but I never get sat in there! However the other rooms aren’t bad as you can see the wedding cake walls and ceilings and the beautiful chandelier.

Even the butter is beautiful.

I usually get the Marie Antoinette tea but this time I switched it up and got Thé a la rose…and it was splendid.

I took my cute little chocolate home, hehe.

The window displays were to die for.

That giant chocolate pistachio egg looked amazing!

For my Easter basket my sweetheart bought me a little Ladurée egg of my own.

Tied with this cute little ribbon…

Crack it open…

And there is even more chocolate inside!

Also for my Easter basket my sweetheart’s mom was so sweet and left me this adorable little pink Ladurée bunny box! It was hard to wait two days till Easter to see what was inside.

Mais voila! When I finally did these rainbow bunnies were snuggling inside. These are definitely too cute to eat so I didn’t open them yet but they rattle so I suspect there is some candy inside of them as well!

They  look small but they are actually quite big.

Enough to share! Wish you were here!

It rained all weekend but as normal when it rains in Paris it pours and then there is some time when the sky is blue filled with puffy clouds before it starts raining again.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday!

Easter Bunny

Even though it’s a four day weekend because of Easter related bank holidays here in France, I have been busy working at home on some deadlines I have for the job and some academic literature reviews on research topics I have due next week. Sounds fun doesn’t it? I’m not complaining though because today I still managed to take a little time to head out in the Marais get some Easter pictures. Here is my easter collage to wish you all a wonderful holiday weekend! Some of the pics are of window displays around my neighborhood and the others I took with some adorable little bunny chocolates I found at the chocolate store on Rue des Archives.

Happy holiday weekend and may the easter bunny bring you all some delicious treats!
